If you are looking into C & C Cages I really recommend them. I changed over to C&C about 2 years ago. As a result they have a much bigger cage which I can adapt and change when I want. Its much more airy for them (no low ceilings of a hutch), spacious and much easy to keep clean. They are very happy as a result and I would never go back. ;D However, I did in the process steal the husbands tool shed ::)and ended up having to buy a bigger shed and get him a smaller one for his tools (it becomes an obsession I warn you!). they now have an entire shed to themselves. ..but its not essential so don't let my obsession put you off!

I don't think I've ever felt Correx. Is it slippy?

Sorry, should also have asked - do you think correx has any insulating properties?
Jackie: sounds excellent. Any pictures?

I am technically incompetent so it would take me ages to post anything here! but in addition to Chrissie's see this link which will give you loads of ideas and inspired me. Not a good idea to have any ramps though as I know Karen has seen some nasty injuries/tragedies from ramps in the past so bypass those.... www.guineapigcages.com/photos/index.phpWhat I also love is that the correx (which I guess must insulate to some extent) lies on the cage connectors and is a little bouncy (almost like a second floor). When you have big boar like Mr Melt when he popcorns he bounces as well (and the whole floor shakes!) So if you have ones that like doing laps (mine are a nightmare for this) they are getting a nice soft landing and springy floor for running ). I really think they use it as a spring board sometimes Have fun....

If anyone wants a bright yellow sheet of Correx, I have one available for sale. Size is 8' x 4' for £8.
