It is an RSPCA condition of adoption that animals are returned to us should you be unable to keep them.
This includes when guinea pigs are left on their own after their partner(s) has died. If it is the case that you don't wish to keep guineas any longer then the single guinea must be returned to us. We strongly recommend that guinea pigs are not left on their own for more than 4 weeks.
Companionship for guinea pigs is in line with the Animal Welfare Bill recommendations.

Please contact us before returning your guineas! I would hate them to have a wasted journey, I do get out sometimes
