Bear in mind that prescription drugs and others should not be given without first consulting a vet.Medicines/drugs do have a shelf life. Baytril in particular has a very short shelf life and starts to lose its clarity and crystalise within a comparably short amount of time.Keep a stock of these just in case your vet cannot provide you with them when you need them. Avipro: (or other Probiotic) available from www.sphsupplies.co.ukOxbow Critical Care/Supreme Science Recovery(alfalfa based): for syringe feeding anorexic guinea pigs. Available from SPH Supplies (above). Vetark Critical Care Formula: Not a necessity but useful if Guinea is eating but not properly and needs an energy boost. Available from SPH Supplies. 1ml syringes: For syringe feeding and giving extra water. From SPH Supplies. Infacol For bloated/gassy guinea pigs. Having this and using it correctly can be a life saver. Lavender and Myrrh Lotion: Immediately soothes fungal skin etc. Available from www.gorgeousguineas.com
