There are a variety of of 'chew toys and treats' on the market, the majority of which are unsuitable, the rest are unnecessary for guineas but nevertheless are not harmful. Treats such as the Burgess Excel Nature Snacks which do not contain seeds, egg, dairy products or honey, or colourings (artificial) are safe for guinea pigs.
There are a lot of wooden chews available that make claim to keeping teeth trim- they do, the Insicors, but not the Molars and not at all if guinea chooses to ignore them. The money is far better spent on some good hay (thats good as opposed to bad, not necessarily expensive), which will wear down the Molars correctly by promoting the side to side chewing action as well as the Incisors when guinea uses the biting action. Hay is also a much bigger boredom buster than a quick chew on some wood.
