www.sphsupplies.co.uk have probiotics (Avipro) which are useful if guinea is taking antibiotics and to give if guinea has diarrhoea/loose droppings until you can get to a vet. They also have Oxbow Critical Care (the Vetark Critical care is not suitable for feeding anorexic guineas, only as a source of vitamins etc); and syringes (1ml with the end cut off for syringe feeding is needed). Snugglesafe pads are useful if guinea is ill. They provide a direct source of warmth, care should be taken with immobile guineas who need to be 'turned'/moved regularly (every half hour). Calcium supplemets are available, they contain Vitamin D and have the correct dose for guineas on there. GTN Vitamin C tablets are useful for guineas under the weather and are easy to administer. The tablets are easy to break in half and simply place on the back teeth. As well as these products there is a good range of disinfectants available, I use the Comficlean here.
