Yes, but this has never stopped us rehablitating them by working through/with the issues until they are in a place where they can be rehomed. It takes time and effort but can be done. I believe behaviour issues are just as 'important' to address as mites or fungal, you wouldn't deprive a guinea with a fungal problem of a home, you would treat it and find a new home for it when its better. The only difference is the 'problem' may be more complex and take a little more time, but I am happy to give that time.
